The S&P BSE closed at 65,828, up by 320 points or 0.49%. The broader Nifty50 closed at 19,638, rising 115 points or 0.59%. Here are the stocks that saw action today:

MCX
Shares of India's largest commodity exchange the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) plunged nearly 8% intraday to the day's low of Rs 1,932.05 following an order by market regulator Sebi to put its proposed Commodity Derivative Platform (CDP) Go-Live in abeyance. The stock finally ended at Rs 2,053 on the NSE, down 2.08%.

Auro Pharma
Aurobindo Pharma shares jumped over 5% intraday to their 52-week high of Rs 930 on the NSE on Friday after media reports said that the company has received a go ahead to launch cancer drug Revlimid in India. The stock finished at Rs 917, up 4.97%.

Shares of Hindalco Industries jumped over 5% to end at Rs 493 on the NSE amid a strong buying action in the metal stocks. It was the top Nifty gainer today.

Adani Ent
Shares of Adani Enterprises fell 2.39% to end at Rs 2,416 on the NSE after Abu Dhabi-based International Holding Co on Thursday said that the company plans to sell its investment in Adani Group firms – Adani Green Energy Ltd and Adani Energy Solutions Ltd. Shares of Adani Green and Adani Energy also closed with declines.

NLC India
Shares of PSU firm NLC India jumped 6% intraday to the day's high of Rs 136.80 on NSE after the state-owned company announced that it is setting up a 3x800 MW coal-based thermal power project at Jharsuguda and Sambalpur districts, Odisha. The stock closed at Rs 135.55, up 5.82%.
