When will the iPhone 15 sale start in India?
Apple will begin collecting preorders for the next iPhones on September 15 in over 40 countries, including the US, India, China, the UK, and Canada. The iPhones will be available a week later, on September 22. On September 18, Apple will also release the phone's most recent operating system, iOS 17.
While the great majority of iPhone 15s will be made in China, they claim it will be the first time a new generation, India-assembled gadget is accessible on the first day of sale.
Apple has announced the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max series with a slew of new features. Some are industry firsts, such as the first-ever 3 nanometer processor (A17 Pro), Titanium body, and 4K 60 FPS Raw pictures, among others.
For the first time, the iPhone pricing in India has surpassed Rs 2 lakh.
Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max with 1 TB storage costs Rs 1,99,900, Rs 100 less than Rs 2 lakh
iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max begin at Rs 1,59,900 and come in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage capacities.
The smaller Pro variant, the iPhone 15 Pro, costs Rs 134900 and comes in 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage capacity.
Apple iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max features
Apple announced a new iPhone 15 with a brighter display and a 48-megapixel camera, as well as 100% recycled cobalt in its battery, on Tuesday. The top-end models of the iPhone 15 series are the Apple iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. The pair are powered by Apple's latest-generation A17 Pro chipset, one of which bears the Bionic moniker. The A17 is Apple's first chip made using the new 3-nanometer manufacturing process.
The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, the two entry-level models, have an aluminum frame and frosted glass back in five colors: black, pink, green, blue, and yellow. Meanwhile, the higher-end variants are available in black, gray, blue, and white.
Apple has switched from a stainless steel frame to a titanium frame for the Pro models, which is believed to make the device lighter and more durable. Each model has a 6.1-inch or 6.7-inch screen, and the more expensive models have smaller margins around the display than before. The iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max come equipped with three cameras: wide-angle and ultrawide-angle lenses, as well as a telephoto system for increased optical and digital zoom.
Both models receive new sensors throughout the camera array, however the iPhone 15 Pro Max adds a telephoto camera with 5x zoom. This roughly doubles the ordinary iPhone 15 Pro's 3x zoom capability.
Apple also announced that USB-C charging cables will be available for both the iPhone 15 and the charging case for its AirPods Pro devices, letting users to utilize the same charging cords that are now used for iPads and Macs.
